Support the Troops?

The "leaders" Must Lead

Given the benefit of the doubt, and assuming that the leaders blundered on the Iraq operation, then refusing to support the operation with all the manpower and equipment necessary to the speedy and decisive success of the mission is NOT leadership and it is NOT supporting the troops. Leadership and support is not accomplished by "losing" and then whining about the American people's refusal to wave pom-pom's. It is not accomplished by "inventing" the mission in retrospect; by making up excuses to continue the financially unsupported and financially unsupportable occupation. The leaders must insure the overwhelming force necessary to success and not cut VA benefits. They must offer something similar to the GI bill that provides health care, low interest loans for housing, and free college tuition or no interest loans for education for all troops serving the Republican's personal and political war of occupation. The people cannot "support the occupation" because it is based on a lie. And the lack of support from the people is due to the lack of support and lack of leadership by the Bush Administration. It is due to his larcenous tax cuts while pretending to be at war. Only a lying thieving Republican cuts taxes while supposedly being "at war".

The People Support the Troops by Funding the Operation While Demanding an End to it

We the people want an end to this failed, false flag, Republican lollipop. The Republicans invaded Iraq as a means to continue the state of emergency brought about by 9/11. IN doing so they were able to make the 2004 (P)residential election close enough to steal it in Ohio. The political maneuvering has been very clear in that the Republicans are blaming the American people and the Democrats that by and large voted against the invasion for the failures of the Republican leaders. The Republicans and their tax cutting and contracting of troops as opposed to a draft, continue to run away from the consequences of their ill advised political maneuvering. The people cannot continue to support such dishonest political fabrication. We must, sooner or later, withhold funding.
